Hi everyone! Welcome to Alpha Sports.

Alpha Sports is curated and run by no one but me, Brant Wolff. Who the hell is that? I am no household name, I’m aware; but, who was Stephen A. Smith when he was just getting started? The answer is he was once just an average joe like me with no special job, just an incredible work ethic, knowledge, and passion for sports. An old quote from John Philip Sousa read that the internet has become a platform where young people come together singing the songs of today, or the songs of the old, but rather than gathering on the front lawn, they now do so with technology (Lessig). And in the case of where my friends and I gather, it’s through sports, which is why I compiled some images below. The beginning of my Stephen A. Smith story has begun at WRSU 88.7FM New Brunswick, in which I am a Sports Broadcaster for them. WRSU is a student-run radio department for Rutgers University. I am in charge of calling play-by-play for all Rutger’s sporting events, but you probably want to know that I’m involved with this year’s sensational, top-25 ranked Rutgers Men’s Basketball team. My heavy involvement with this department has bolstered my already extensive knowledge of sports by making me one of the most knowledgeable voices in all of Rutgers sports. That last sentence is what led me to create this page and what probably led you here: Alpha Sports. Alpha sports is named after my last name, Wolff, in which the Alpha Wolf is the leader of the pack and I hope to give you all new leads on Rutgers sports and all sports across the board. This website will be updated consistently with new write-ups, audio, and some funny memes sprinkled in there.
